Just Be!
July-August
Iām 50% complete with my outline, and wow I totally underestimated the effort to write all of my thoughts in book form. Still motivated and still going, continuing to make relationships as I build on my life and business. In one of those welcomed conversations, I was inspired to offer additional services: coaching. A change, I have somewhat ignored due to the chaos in my head. Nonetheless, I wrote an introduction to this, and while on my vacation in The Netherlandsāmore about that later. I held my breath, closed my eyes and hit enter. Outside of my postings here, that was one of the hardest things for me to do, being vulnerable on LinkedināIāll share that later as well.
Now letās talk about how great this community is, as micro as we are, we still find time to show up for each other.
never forgets to remind me āHowās the writing bro?ā or āAlright! You gotta write about your trip man! šŖā and everyone that continues to engage with my quote nature notes. And since weāre celebrating, Iāve finally gotten to 100 subscribers, and Iām thankful to all of you wonderful people.Thank you yaāll again šā¤ļø, now about the trip:
It was a loooong way to The Netherlands for me, about 9 hrs. I got some good rest and some bad neck-pain, I had not traveled that long in a while and forgot they gave you food. My taste buds were hoping for something great but look, it was just good enough to keep me alive. I was concerned about not knowing how to speak Dutch. I wondered, would be hard to communicate? I did no researchājust showed upāso my mind continued to make up stories the entire trip and it was mostly negative and mostly about the airplane. š
Once we arrived at the airport pickup station, we couldnāt find the uber spot, then after we crossed that obstacle, things went smoothly to my friend's home. One of the first pictures I took was of the sunset, not sure why but probably because once I settled, I felt alive, I felt no judgement, and yeah people spoke english well lol.𤣠A sense of relief when you get to your destination, peacefully. See as a black man, I wake up already with concern, every step outside my doors. But there in Utrecht, I met and witnessed the most amount of diversity. Not like I didnāt know things, but it was a re-realization of how huge the world is. š
When you visit a place for the first time you observe everything. I appreciated that many bars, restaurants and even homes had money tree plants, so I got some shots of that to look at later.š People were living on the lake, the streets were mostly concrete with native plants and bushes pushing up everywhere š and the best part was, almost everyone rode a bike and I you know I had too as well.
I was a bit surprised by how small the items were sold at the grocery store were, especially the packaged meat. Most shoppers seem to visit often vs big bulk buys. I tried some local beer, amazed by the buildings and it so happened that a reggae festival was happening and one of my favs artists were there. All in all, a very great trip and a much needed change. You should go.
About that hard thing, yeah it took all of me to do it. so hereās the post

Yes, I really resonate with this challenge. Itās important to be aware of these false stories and donāt give them any energy. Itās all about raising our vibration and consciously imagining everything being perfect.
When things seem to go wrong, donāt get flustered. Let them slide off and just be in the vibration of gratitude. š¤©
